CMP worked with the Design Engineer at Moorend Ltd to convert this JCB Telehandler from pneumatic tyres to Catapilla tracks, creating the 4-Track Articulated 3.2 tonne Telehandler enabling it to operate in any terrain.

The Custom Moulded Polyurethane team was asked to work with the Design Engineer at Moorend Ltd to convert this JCB Telehandler from pneumatic tyres to Catapilla tracks.
What We Did
Our job was to manufacture the polyurethane wheels to enable the 4-Track Articulated 3.2 tonne Telehandler to operate in any terrain. Working to a very specific formulation of Polyurethane grade required for this very demanding application.
The Impact
Replacing conventional wheels with a track system provides maximum traction, performance, and efficiency with minimal damage to the ground.
The track guide wheels were manufactured to withstand the heavy load and constant impact from the perennial issues of working on sites with difficult topographical terrains and sensitive surfaces.
