Description
A bending restrictor is designed to control the bend in a flexible pipeline or cable to stop them from overbending or buckling when being installed or in operation.
Bend restrictors are normally used in static applications where a flexible pipe or cable connects to a rigid structure and any movement would cause damage or failure at the connection site.
Once the pipe or cable has reached its desired bend radius the bend restrictor will provide protection between the flexible line and the rigid connections.
